Bus Driver 

Contract Type: Part-time of casual positions available

We are currently inviting applications for Bus Drivers, (Part Time & Casual positions) commencing immediately. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team at Mid North Christian College.

College Bus Drivers enable students to attend from surrounding towns and rural districts.  They provide a high level of customer service to students and their families ensuring a safe journey to and from the College.

Skills and attributes of the successful candidate include:

  • Proven experience as a driver accompanied by a good driving record (LR License or higher an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time and work management skills
  • Current Working with Children Check that satisfies the requirements of the College

Accountant

Mid North Christian College offers a wonderful opportunity to serve as an Accountant in the regional area of Port Pirie, South Australia commencing in Term 4, 2024.

We are looking for a passionate finance professional to join the team at Mid North Christian College. The key responsibilities would include providing financial information to the Principal and Board and ensuring that a range of accounting processes are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with College procedures and governance requirements.

The successful applicant will be required to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Principal, other staff members and the wider community, and actively contribute to the vision and values of the College. They will have a personal commitment to Christian faith and active involvement in a church.

They must hold suitable accounting qualifications, have experience with accounting systems, budget management and financial reporting.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic senior secondary teacher to join our qualified team of educators. You will be responsible for cultivating a classroom culture which respects and reflects the Christian Worldview of the College.

The successful applicant will be required to work within the Secondary School. The successful applicant will be required to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other staff members and the community, and actively contribute to the vision and values of the College.

The successful applicant will be committed to serving and living in the Mid North of South Australia (relocation assistance available) and working as part of the wider Christian community. This position requires a team-orientated approach to teaching and leadership.

IT Manager

We are currently inviting applications for an IT Manager/System Administrator. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team at Mid North Christian College.

The IT Manager/Systems Administrator will provide technical support for the day-to-day operations of the College’s IT systems, as well as making sure that programs, processes, and procedures are compliant and adequate to support the education and administrative operations of the College. The successful applicant will have a proven experience in systems administration and working collaboratively within a team.

Wellbeing Support Officer

We are looking for compassionate, caring, and qualified Wellbeing Support Officers to join our Wellbeing team from Term 1, 2025. As we are an intentional Christian community, the College’s Student Wellbeing team need to be able to provide, comfort, counsel and wisdom to students, staff, and their families from a Biblical worldview.

 We are a vibrant F-12 school that provides quality Christian education in a caring and nurturing environment to the Mid North Region of South Australia.
